I Have Questions

I have questions, if you have time to spare.

How do I find meaning in a world that doesn’t care?

How can I create in this world of destruction?

Why were we put here without help or instruction?

Questions, questions, but answers are sparse.

The questions, even, are harder to parse.

There’s change in the air–it’s shake up season.

Chaos, confusion–but it’s for a good reason.

We’ve been living in sin, though it’s not what you think;

Life is the paper and we are the ink!

The sin is living as though we’re divided,

But truth is truth, it’s not one-sided.

Look at that, another question found;

Why are we convinced that we can’t leave the ground?

Why fly in the sky? What purpose would it serve?

I’ll stay here to be miserable; it’s what I deserve.

But we are the creators!

It’s fractal, you see!

We are the branches, God is the tree.

God is the beach, we are the sand.

We came here to work, we came to expand.

The darkness is real, but it’s not the whole story.

We came here to thrive, to live in our glory.

We came to learn lessons, to sew what needs mending,

To have new experiences, and realize we’re pretending.

It’s a serious game, and it’s not always fun.

But how else can we realize we’re actually One?

There are no dividers, there are no walls.

There are no curtains, there are no stalls.

We are all connected, there is no space.

We are beautiful colors of one human race.

What’s good for me is good for you;

Keep our waters clean; keep the sky blue.

And as you live, keep this in mind:

It is true–what you seek, you will find.

Be careful what you wish for,

Be careful of your thoughts,

Create the life you want,

Don’t get lost in shoulds and oughts.

Here, now, is an answer to the questions above!

Stop living in fear and turn to love!

Focus on patience, focus on light.

It’s about learning, not “getting it right”.

There’s no condemnation, there is no Hell.

There is no punishment, from what I can tell.

So let's live our stories, let ourselves grow.

Meet Death with a smile, and then we’ll know.
