About me

Hello! I'm Heidi Hahe (pronounced Hi-Dee Hey-Hee), romance novelist! Here's a little about me.

I grew up a rural farming community in southeastern Ohio, something that pops up in my writing from time to time. I graduated at the top of my class, but academics weren't the reason that there was always a notebook in my hands, fiction was.

I've been putting stories on paper since elementary school, well over 25 years at this point. Words and stories are in my soul and always have been. Even in college, while getting my Bachelor's Degree in Russian and Linguistics, I still managed to find time to write fiction.

After wasting too many years in corporate banking, the universe said it's time to do what you came here to do: write. Write smutty romance novels that remind us that humanity isn't just strong and brave, but also soft and sensual, and desperately craving intimacy.

I am lucky to be married to a wonderful man, who also happens to truly be my best friend and a huge supporter. (not to mention my favorite fact checker for certain...aspects of my writing ;) I live in Colorado, the state of my choosing, and I get into the forests and mountains whenever I am able!
